About Me

My name’s Danielle, and I own and run Sugar Shack Bake Shop. And I’ve been baking in the kitchen since before I can remember… my guess is since I was about 3.

That means I’ve been baking for over 30 years. Baking is a passion of mine, my happy place where I go. I love to serve up something delicious and tasty. 

My love for baking was started by my beloved aunt. It feels like I spent almost half my childhood at her house. My fondest memories of baking with her are when she would pull up her dining room chair to her kitchen counter for me to stand on. 

And that was the beginning of a life long love of baking. From cakes to cupcakes and more (if it contains sugar I guarantee you I enjoy baking it.)

From there my love of baking grew. My aunt and I would bake cakes and cupcakes and more. Working with chocolate and cookies too. 

Baking was a way to show my love, enjoy myself, and make something delicious and tasty. 

As an adult, I love to create flavor combinations that are more than just average chocolate and vanilla. I’m always dreaming up some new flavor combination. My menu is an expression of my love for quality flavored desserts that are out of this world delicious.
